Smoky Valley Ranch experienced a Mycoplasma bovis outbreak in the summer of 2021. Infected animals were immediately removed from the herd upon clinical diagnosis in the field or testing. Entire herd testing has occurred annually since the outbreak, and any infected animals have been removed. No new outbreaks have occurred. All animals for sale have been vaccinated with Mycoplasma bovis vaccine. Please contact Justin Roemer with any questions.

All animals will have permanent federal ID tags unless bison are moved directly to a recognized slaughtering establishment and are accompanied by an owner-shipper statement to comply with current regulations.
