We have spent more than 27 years refining our breeding program. We are proud to offer you an opportunity to purchase the powerful genetics in these young breeding animals.
Our yearling breeding bull prospects are showing impressive numbers on their gains! They are averaging 2 to 2.6 pounds per day from weaning to current.
The two-year-old heifers are all bred to Slim Buttes Buffalo Ranch bulls. In mid-November, these heifers averaged 1100 pounds off grass. No supplements, no feed, just grass. Weights ranged from 950 to 1300 pounds. A sister group of three-year-old females averaged 1152 off grass. Our calves were weaned in mid-November, with the bull calves averaging 475 pounds and the heifer calves averaging 457 pounds.

Bidding will be US DOLLARS PER HEAD (X times the number of animals in the lot). All animals are to be paid for in guaranteed funds before load out. In-person bidders will pay at the conclusion of the auction. Online buyers will pay with a wire transfer of funds to Jumpoff Buffalo Ranch. Online buyer payment in full must be made within 24 hours of the conclusion of the auction, no later than the end of business day on Monday, February 5, 2024. Successful online bidders will be notified after the auction via email with payment instructions and an invoice. The buyer must notify the auction company if the physical receiving address differs from your bidder registration address. This is to ensure that health paperwork is valid.
All animals must be paid in guaranteed funds before load out. No animals will be removed until payment arrangements have been finalized. Buyers are responsible for knowing their state import requirements before bidding.
The buyer must provide a paid invoice or the bank receipt of the wire transfer before loadout. Ownership and complete responsibility of the sold animals transfer to the buyer upon (1) payment by the buyer and (2) loading of animals on the buyer's trailer.
